Nice thing to do on Sunday afternoon… The promenade runs through the 12th arrondissement of Paris in its length (4.5 km). It takes the path of an old railway line where traffic ceased in 1969. The promenade starts behind the Bastille opera. It overlooks the “Avenue Daumesnil” until Reuilly garden: the famous “Viaduct des Arts.” Then it continues in tunnels and trenches and ends up joining the “Bois de Vincennes.”
