This museum is a national symbol that finished renovations in 2013. It hosts 22 halls that take you through the history of Tajikstan and Tajiks. Highlights include a reclining Buddha, the deathbed of princess Sarazm, paintings from Penjikent and artifacts such as antiques and wall paintings from the various excavations in Tajikistan.
